Return of the Antique Show
Willowrush Promotions has changed the name of its St. Louis area show to reflect a new affiliation. The show has been rechristened the Missouri Heritage Art & Antique Show Benefiting the Christopher Hawken House. This year’s show will be June 28-29, again at the Greensfelder Recreation Complex at Queeny County Park in Ballwin, Missouri.
By partnering with Willowrush Promotions, Webster Groves Historical Society, which operates the Hawken House Museum, returns to the Gateway City’s antique show scene.
“This organization held a wonderful country show for many years. The person who managed the show died a few years ago and they quit having it,” said Don Orwig of Willowrush Promotions. “It was always a fabulous show that everyone looked forward to, and all at once they didn’t have anyone to run it so they stopped doing it. There will be a lot of people who will remember the Webster Groves Antique Show,” he said.
Orwig said that the name change also reflects a shift in the show’s country focus to a wider selection of high quality antiques and fine art. The show will feature 70 select dealers from across the nation. Orwig anticipates the quality of merchandise at the Missouri Heritage Antique Show will be comparable to that of the Methodist Hospital antique show in Indianapolis.
